This rural house in Tenerife is more than 200 years old. It is located in the town of Erjos in the municipal area of Los Silos, in the northwest of Tenerife island and it is at 1000 meters high. Tenerife is the biggest and highest island of the Canarian Archipelago and also of the Macaronesia region. It is 2057 Km2 long and located on the Atlantic Ocean. Our island is at 300 Km from Africa and at 1300 Km from the Iberian Peninsula. We are before a volcanic island. In fact, its highest point is the Teide and this great volcano is 3718 meters high. It is also the highest peak of Spain.

Places of intererst
At a few meters from the house in the rural Park of Teno, we get El Monte del Agua (Water´s Mountain) with a high ecological value and also the Charcas de Erjos (Pools of Erjos) for bird´s sighting.
Towards the south in direction to Santiago del Teide, we can get the hamlet of Masca, which is declared as a Whole Historical of Artistic Interest and it is at 25 minutes, then the cliffs of Los Gigantes (The Giants) at 35 or 40 minutes and Playa de la Arena (Sand´s Beach) in Puerto Santiago at 35 or 40 minutes far from.

Towards the north at 25 minutes, we can get Icod de los Vinos, where we can visit the(Drago Milenario) Millenary Dragon, Cueva del Viento (Lava Tube) which is the Second longest volcanic tube in the world and also on the coast we get Playa San Marcos (Saint Mark´s Beach).

Towards the north at 35 minutes, we can get Garachico. It is a tourist municipality, where we can visit El Caletón with a group of natural pools next to the San Miguel Castle and also its old part of the town. It is an item of Cultural Interest with category of Historical Whole.

At 40 minutes we get Los Silos, where we can cover all the streets and visit the San Sebastian Convent (1649) in the south of La Luz Square, los Hornos de Cal (Lime´s Ovens) , also the Telegraph Box (1883) and the municipal pools in El Puertito area.

At 50 minutes we get Buenavista del Norte, where we can see the Hamlet of Teno Alto and Punta de Teno. There, we can appreciate the headlight and a small but marvelous beach.
